Make Up For Ever: Super Matte Loose Powder

Nights ago, I noticed that my skin is becoming very dry. Then I realized that it's all because my water intake is not sufficient to keep my skin hydrated. Singapore weather has been very weird. Sometimes mornings are very sunny and heavy rain pours in the afternoon. Or rainy morning then it becomes very sunny in the afternoon. And I have to confess that I have not been drinking a lot of water lately. Weather and insufficient water intake? Result - dry skin. Too bad.

I thought of resting my skin from foundation, hence, thought of finding a good loose powder. I decided to go to Ion and my feet dragged me to Sephora. Was looking for Laura Mercier products but ended up grabbing this Super Matte Loose Powder from MUFE.

My verdict:

If you are looking for a light coverage, this would be perfect. But since I have dry skin, I have to take extra effort on moisturizer and spray mist. I still cover my dark circles with concealer. Re-application is a must. Loose powder usually is a solution for blotting out oil on the face, but it's not for full coverage. This does not achieve the super flawless skin.

Soooo, if you want a light feel, this one is recommended.

Nyx Blush

Late post. I have not been wearing blush but when I was browsing for Nyx products, I got tempted and wanted to give it a shot. Nyx Blush PB28 Bourgeois Pig was the first to catch my eye because I felt that a darker shade would best fit my skintone.

It's quite ok for the price. But I admit it's not the best blush. I don't usually splurge on blushes. And for this at $9 is just fine. The not so good thing about it is, you have to re-apply after few hours; unlike other blushes that stay over 8 hrs.

To buy it again? No, because I am no longer fond of wearing blush. Or maybe I still would, occassionally, depending on my mood swings =)
