Happy Birthday To Me!

I haven't done a post yet for my birthday. A week has already passed since my birthday. The whole day was spent walking and running here and there because our visual merchandising team came to Singapore to refresh the whole look of the showroom. Night before my birthday, Jay and I went to 313 and he asked me to choose whatever pair of earrings I like as his birthday present. I was thinking of Aquamarine since it's my birth stone. He was asking me what I like as a birthday present and after thorough discussion with my materialistic mind, I opted for fine jewelry. Of course I thought about a designer bag, or Louboution shoes, but after having a debate between my black and white conscience, I know I can keep a fine jewelry and it is something more meaningful and definitely has value, hence, I opted for Sapphire and diamond pair of earrings.

Thank you and I love you Moony! =)

We had dinner at Steakout and had wine at home. On my way to Steakout, Jay was waiting outside and was keeping this bouquet of flowers. *kilig much*

It was soo tiring but after all the laugh trip I had with this two, all the exhaustion was gone. Yes, they wanted to look "formal" and "professional" because we were having wine. Ahahahaha.

This was what I had written on Facebook:

I am 28. And I am very happy.

It is indeed a good feeling to count the blessings I have been receiving everyday. I am so grateful and there are so many reasons why I would not want to exchange places with anyone.

I am blessed with a family and relatives who are under the influence of excessive happiness, which btw is contagious and incurable.

I have a father who waits patiently for me during m...y make up bookings. He is never ashamed of buying make up remover and hair spray for me. How funny can it be when his kumpare saw him holding cosmetics, and he would just laugh and say that those were for her daughter. I have a dad who wakes up 4 in the morning to pick me up in the airport during my travels. Up to date, he still buys for me a pair of Levi's jeans whenever he goes to the mall even if he has no idea what my real size is (he says he can exchange it anytime). He is a super man.

I have a mother who never gets tired of cooking breakfast for me. She never gets tired of us asking favor from her and she happily does everything with love. I have a mom who sleeps beside me whenever I'm sick and she wakes up in the middle of the night to check if my temperature has gone down. She never gets tired of fixing my room everytime I mess it up. She is wonder woman.

I have a brother who picks me up everytime I get drunk. He gives me plastic bag just for me not to puke at his car's seat cover. He makes me laugh all the time. My brother wakes me up by tickling my foot, or my ear. He annoys me in the cutest manner. He is the best person to call in case of emergency. He is like 911. He is the flash.

I have a boyfriend who never gets tired of saying I love you. He makes me laugh with his corniest jokes. He is not ashamed of singing loudly in public just to make me smile. He makes me feel special all the time. He is the type of boyfriend who always asks me to hold him whenever we are walking. He is more than Romeo. He is more than a prince charming.

At 28, I have my first niece. She is such an angel. She is so adorable that I feel like booking my flight now just to be with her. But no, I am saving up to spoil her and give her a doll house when she demands for it (if doll house is still a hit by the time she grows up).

I am 28 and I am happy with a stable job, with a cool family, with loving relatives and with the best boyfriend any woman could ever ask for.

I am more than blessed, more than happy.

Thank you Lord for the gift of life and for the 28 years of watching over me (oh good Lord, I know it's more than that).

Thank you and I am going to make You proud!

Thank you Lord Jesus for both the wonderful blessings and the lessons! Thank you for guiding me each day and for protecting my loved ones. I love you! Cheers!
